Entrepinays Summit is excited to partner with General Assembly to host this amazing panel that will explore how we can find our voices as Pinays in spaces that power the Internet.

We are going to be joined by 4 prolific personalities who are based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Their panel discussion will bring up topics such as Pinayism, identity, expectations, imposter syndrome, competition in the tech space, and how we can use tech to create support systems and foster self care.

The concept of Pinayism is defined by Dr. Allyson Tintiangco-Cubales as “the complexity of the intersections where race/ethnicity, class, gender, sexuality, spirituality/religion, educational status, age, and place of birth” and its relation to our individual and collective lived experiences. This program will explore the many layers of a Pinay and the many topics that affect them.

Speakers are subject to change without notice.

This event is open to all genders and backgrounds — anyone who supports the careers of women and those identifying as women in business and tech are welcome to attend.

General Assembly SF recognizes the need for safe spaces for women and people with marginalized gender identities to discuss or challenge viewpoints, to ask questions without judgement and to share experiences with a like-minded community. We ask that you keep an open mind to create a supportive safe space that fosters conversation and exchange of opinions, ideas and questions.
